About
A small firm built for decisions that matter
Harlow & Vance Advisory is a fictional demonstration firm created for this template. The structure below shows how a real firm’s story, principles and people fit into it.

Why we started
After years inside large advisory firms, the two founders kept seeing the same pattern: good analysis, delivered by people who would not be there when it was implemented. They started Harlow & Vance to do the opposite. Small teams, senior people, and a stake in whether the work actually lands.
The firm works with owner-led and founder-led companies between roughly 30 and 300 people, mostly in software, logistics, consumer goods and healthcare services.

How we think
Principles we would rather lose work over than drop
Plain language
If a recommendation cannot be explained in one page, it is not finished.
Evidence before opinion
We build the fact base first and argue about it second.
Leave it running
Every engagement ends with routines your team runs without us.
Say the hard thing
We would rather tell you a project should not start than run it badly.
Talk to a partner, not a pipeline
Every enquiry is read by one of the two partners. You will hear back within two working days.
